El Arenal Beach in Javea

Arenal beach is the busiest beach on the Javea coast given its proximity to the seafront, with a wide selection of bars, restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlors and souvenir shops. The beach is 1400 m long and 60 m wide with fine sand and a slight slope in the shallow waters. It has a full range of facilities and services. Lifeguards, Red Cross, walkways, water skiing facilities, entertainment, sports area, foot bath and shower, access for people with reduced mobility, parking, public telephone, bus stop and taxi rank. It is an ideal beach for children.

Cala Adella beach in Javea

Cala Adella is a beautiful bay with pebbles, 220m long and 24m wide, with gentle waves that make swimming a pleasure. The beach is located in the southernmost part of Javea and from there you can see the castle Adella. This is a beach of history and with all the amenities and Blue Flag status for its water quality. Here are lifeguards and first aid services, bus and parking spaces, regular cleaning and sunshades and hammock rentals. This bay is ideal for scuba diving and snorkeling.

Cala Portichol beach in Javea

Cala Portichol is located between Punta Negra and Cabo Negro in an area of dramatic cliffs and diverse vegetation. Portichol Island can be seen from the bay. The coarse sandy bay is 800m long and 10m wide and has restaurants, restrooms and showers, a public phone, and trash cans. By car from Javea take the Cabo de la Nao road and after 8 km turn left at the crossing and park and then go down to the beach.

La Grava beach in Javea

La Grava beach is located in the city and has a promenade and crystal clear waters. The beach is 550m long and 8m wide, with rough sand and moderate waves. Information about the sea is available here, and there is a public telephone, promenade, lifeguards, a maritime information point, bus stop and taxi rank, bars and restaurants.

Cala Sardinera beach in Javea

Cala Sardinera is a bay that is 500m long and 8m wide with coarse sand. The beach is on the north side of Cabo de San Martín. It is accessible on foot via a path through a pine forest, or by car on the Cabo de la Nao road and Porticholl. The reward for the trip is to be able to have the beach almost entirely to yourself.

Cala Blanca beach in Javea

Cala Blanca, a rocky bay 300 m long and 8 m wide. It is an exceptional bay that can be reached on foot or from the sea and offers breathtaking views of the white cliffs.

Cala Ambolo beach in Javea

Cala Ambolo de Javea is a small bay of clear waters located south of Cabo de la Nao, and from where we can see Descubridor Island. The beach is 80m long and 6m wide. It is the perfect place for a quiet swim and for diving to explore its rich seabed. This is a nudist beach with a lifeguard service.

Cala Tango beach in Javea

Cala Tango is a 100 m long bay located behind the Javea Nautical Club and near the Cabo de San Antonio Marine Reserve. There are two running routes here. It has a restaurant, flag indicating sea conditions, showers and toilets.
